openDesk now runs Element Server Suite, direct from upstream

We’re delighted to share that openDesk now deploys Element Server Suite (ESS) directly from Element. The Element frontend still reflects the openDesk product and branding, but now openDesk deploys Element Server Suite (ESS) directly from Element, the original manufacturer and product owner of the software. It brings hardened Kubernetes deployments, next-generation OIDC-based authentication and the complete ESS feature set to Germany’s sovereign office productivity suite.

How to get Zendesk Live Dashboards without upgrading

Keep your Zendesk plan and give your team a live view of what needs attention. Geckoboard connects directly to Zendesk and puts queue size, response times and team performance on a shared dashboard. See queues building and response times slipping while there’s still time to act. Your team gets the numbers to respond, and you can stop being the person who has to spot every problem.

Introducing Viewer Mode: More Granular Access Permissions for Guests on Wire Drive

Bringing an external partner into a conversation shouldn't mean an all-or-nothing choice between locking them out entirely or handing over full access. Wire Drive now offers a middle ground: temporary guests and outside team participants will get view-only access to shared files by default, so collaboration stays open without the risk.

Treat them the same and you get delays, extra handling, and inventory that nobody quite trusts. That is why more businesses are moving away from one-size-fits-all fulfillment and building processes around their own products, channels, and customers.

AI-Generated Content in Team Communication: How to Set Guidelines That Work

A product manager posts a status update in the team channel on a Tuesday morning. It is four tidy paragraphs, bolded headings, a closing line that says the team “remains committed to delivering value.” Two engineers react with a thumbs up.

Workstation Monitoring

Workstation monitoring is the device-level layer of employee monitoring: a software agent installed on a computer that records application and website use, active and idle periods, and optionally file events and screenshots. Every product page in this category explains that the agent is lightweight, deploys by Group Policy and keeps recording when the machine is offline. All true.
