If you haven’t signed up for our upcoming April 21 Work Anywhere Webinar with Exoprise and Forrester, now is a good time. The webinar highlights the challenges that businesses face today due to Covid disruption and innovative solutions to mitigate these challenges. Millions of Americans now work from the comfort of their home using Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, and other critical SaaS application services for their daily activities.
Exoprise CloudReady provides early detection of mission-critical mail outages. On March 15, Microsoft had a service outage worldwide that impacted its services such as Teams AV, Yammer, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory. Users reported not being able to login into either of these services and were getting timeout messages. Exoprise detected the issue earlier at 3 pm EST (40 mins before Microsoft reported it) and was able to immediately relay the news to its customer base.
It’s been more than half a year since I joined Exoprise. When Covid-19 struck last year, it became clear that companies would expand their hiring requirements beyond local regions and find suitable candidates (just like me!). Remote work and the requirement for on-boarding remote workers no longer became a luxury. This is reflected in job portals and HR sites such as Indeed and Glassdoor where they began to insert a new tag “Remote WFH Option Available”.
In today’s modern IT world, enterprises are looking to not only streamline their global monitoring operations but also facilitate access to reporting capabilities that provide insight into usage, uptime, and availability of SaaS services. Covid disrupted the work culture and our daily lives. With so many of us working from home, IT leaders and executives are now more than ever interested in ensuring that the cloud services their team relies on are available.
Microsoft Teams is everywhere. Not surprisingly, during the pandemic, the number of daily active users for Teams increased to 75 million in 2020. More and more people are WFH and companies are becoming virtual. Personal meetings are fading now, and Teams poises to become the next best collaboration tool. According to a Riverbed study, 64% of US employees are now working from home because of the Covid pandemic. In turn, Microsoft Teams optimization has become a critical topic for Operations and Network personnel.
Exoprise CloudReady provides early detection of mission critical mail outages. On February 3rd, Microsoft had a mail delivery delay, that caused mail delivery failures and an outage. While CloudReady detected the Exchange Online mail delivery error almost 2 hours in advance, Microsoft did finally publish an incident to track the outage.
Our Makefile entry point for developing against the Mattermost Server already tries to simplify things for developers as much as possible. For example, when invoking make run-server, this build tooling takes care of all of the following (among other things!).
